Minecraft: How to Beat an Ocean Monument

Beating an ocean monument is serious business. You might get killed and lose all of your precious items especially those good diamonds. 8 golden blocks are worth the adventure so today I am going to tell you how to defeat this monument and get all the treasure.

Preperation

Before you even think about going you need to prepare. Enchant your armor with aqua afinity and brew potions of water breathing. Get some sponges also to clear the water. A pickaxe to mine. Some food for regeneration. Golden apples (Optional) and Enchanted weapons. A boat and enchanted boots that makes you walk faster in water.

Beating the Monument

Drink one potion of water breathing and wear your aqua afinity helmet and go down to the ocean monument. Set your spawn in a dry place in case you die. If you see a guardian don't take it on with range weapons but kill it with enchanted melee weapons. If you have mining fatigue wait for it to be removed. Mine those gold in the treasure room and get back to your house.

Hiding traps should be one of the most important things you need to make an epic trap. Today, I am going to show you how to hide traps. Blocks Hide redstone circuits with blocks! This is the most simple way to hide your traps. Remember when using blocks to hide circuits always put the power source near the blocks that hides your redstone traps. Vines Hide the thing that will kill you with vines. It is the same item that is used to hide the dispenser in the jungle temple. Let vines grow on your trap and it will hide your cunning trap. Camouflage Camouflage is another way to hide your traps! For example wooden pressure plates on wooden planks will hide those power sources. You could also use stone pressure plate on stone.
