Minecraft:How to get to the Nether

The nether is a hellish dimension. For some players it is a source of great things such as quartz, glowstone, nether wart, and a lot of stuff. For players who don't know how to i'll teach you how to and you'll get there in no time!

The first step is finding gravel and getting flint. Once you found gravel mine some iron and smelt it in your furnace. Craft flint and steel in your crafting table. Get your diamond pickaxe or iron pickaxe and let's get mining.

Remember when mining bring this items.

Crafting table

Iron sword

Armor

Torches

Pickaxe

Water bucket

Bow

Arrows

Sticks

Once you got this items start off finding a lava pool. Kill any monsters that come in your way. If you only have an iron pickaxe find some diamonds and craft them into a diamond pickaxe. Once you found your lava pool put water on the edge of the lava. Don't put the water bucket in the lava as it will become cobblestone. Mine the obsidian with your diamond pickaxe. Make a nether portal frame. As shown below.

Ignite the center using your flint and steel and you'll be exploring the nether!
